Here I’m writing a sample answer to one of the previous question. This is just for your reference and I would normally post more lessons than sample answers because that is how you learn writing. Of course, reading a sample answer is also one of the tricks you could use for developing your writing skills.
Some people say that the best way to improve public health is by increasing the number of sports facilities. Others, however, say that this would have little effect on public health and that other measures are required. Discuss both these views and give own opinion.
Please note that you can have your own points but your plan must include all the relevant information. It doesn’t matter whether you write your plan in 4 paragraph fashion or 5 paragraph fashion but any how you must answer the question fully.
Many people associate outdoor games facilities with better health and they believe that more of such clubs and communities should be developed to improve the public health. However, personally, I would argue that such facilities would be of little use without increased awareness of diet and healthy eating practices.
There are good arguments for developing more clubs and play areas for people. Sports centres are generally welcomed not only by the young adults but also by the elderly people because of their fun and interactive nature. These centres are an excellent approach to interact with local people and relieve routine-life stress which can boost mental well-being. More significantly, local residents can engage in various entertaining games and perform exercise without over-straining their muscles which obviously builds physical health. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to develop and enhance sporting facilities in the local communities.
However, only sports clubs will not solve the problem of general unhealthiness of individuals. This is due to the fact that people are not so much health-conscious that they would use these facilities. Working professionals, for example, are busy making a living and at the end of the day they do not have much time to benefit from these facilities. Similarly, without proper diet, exercising would serve little or no purpose at all. So, it is imperative that people learn about health practices and health foods from their early days and there is no better way to achieve this than imparting health education in the school curriculum. Thus, it is clear that education and diet are also crucial factors in determining physical well-being.
Overall, I agree that facilitating the local community with sports-related organizations can certainly help in developing better health. Nonetheless, this should be supported by other equally significant factors such as health awareness and education.
