Sample answer: Public Health

This is a sample answer to one of the questions I discussed in earlier posts.

Some people say that the best way to improve public health is by increasing the number of sports facilities. Others, however, say that this would have little effect on public health and that other measures are required. Discuss both these views and give own opinion.

IELTS Writing task marking explained

This blog post explains how IELTS writing is scored by the examiner. Examiners are given four criteria based on which they give bands out of 9.0 and finally the score is averaged and rounded off. These four criteria are explained here in brief.
